As a holistic therapist, my therapy philosophy is rooted in the belief that our experiences, whether chosen or not, shape and define us. Some of these experiences are traumatic, especially when we are vulnerable or silenced. By exploring our stories and the narratives we tell ourselves, we gain the power to choose our responses, reclaiming our sense of control and empowerment.

ADHD

// Understanding neuro-diversity can be challenging. As someone with ADHD, I've experienced the difficulties of growing up feeling isolated within the only community I knew. The disconnect between family, authority figures, and education can leave you feeling fractured. I believe these are traumas we've faced, and recognizing them as such is crucial for finding self-compassion and fostering personal growth. ADHD means excelling in certain areas while encountering challenges in others. My goal is to help you recognize these strengths, building your identity and self-confidence.

Spirituality/Church Trauma

// As someone who has been deeply immersed in religion from an academic and practical perspective, I'm dedicated to helping individuals and groups grapple with spiritual challenges and church-related trauma. Religious environments can bring about diverse pressures and social norms that may lead to challenging situations and mixed emotions. I'm here to support you in processing these experiences, whether they're from your past or ongoing. I also provide trauma-informed therapy for organizations in the form of group therapy, mediation, and guest speaking.

Trauma and PTSD

The emotional journey through PTSD and its triggers is daunting, ethically complex, and often deeply isolating.
